Alaska Cruise

We've just returned from what has to be one of the most fantastic experiences of our lives - an Alaskan Cruise. We cruised with Norwegian Cruise Lines, and can't say enough good things about them. Their "Freestyle Cruising" offered so many choices that it made it all very enjoyable - you could eat whatever you want, where you want and as much as you want at one of the 13 restaurants. Or you could order free room service. Somewhere onboard there was food available 24 hours a day. In each port (Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Victoria) there were new and more interesting things to see (not to mention at least 20 jewelry stores)! There were hundreds of activities available onboard, or you could just watch amazing Glacier Bay go by from the balcony. (We highly recommend getting a balcony stateroom.) Best yet was the entire crew, who were exceptionally friendly, ready to chat, and courteous. To get a small glimpse of what we experienced, we have a few pictures out of about 350 Walt took that you can look at. Anyone wanting to see the whole collection will just have to come down to Ajijic ;-). Remember, our doors are always open for you.

Loved your pictures, especially of the two of you yesterday. You look so happy. Isn't it wonderful to be retired? I am so happy for both of you. Will see Mom and Dad tomorrow and hopefully will be able to share your blog site with them! Love you so much! Thank you for sharing.

I enjoyed your Alaska pics! We're going on the same cruise in a few weeks with all of Jack's family to celebrate his parent's 60th anniversary. We'll be on Sun Princess, but the same stops. It was fun to see your pics....didn't know those towns were so small! How was the weather?

Hello there!

I'm so glad that you two got to relax and enjoy the view after so many months of planning, organizing, and lifting heavy things. I loved the pictures, too! I'm totally sold on cruises now. :) I can't wait for another post about your new home! ¡Dios te bendiga!

Love,
Katie

P.S. Have you caught up on Lost?!?!

Pics are beautiful. It's nice to see a different kind of cruise. We've only been on cruises to Mexico and Bahamas. Anyway, I'm glad you had a wonderful time. Miss you so much.

Of course, I want to see the rest of your pictures! Just tell me when and where! And you must join us at Los 5 Potrillos sometime soon. Had the best arrachera there yesterday!
